The flyers did work, but gosh, at what cost! Printing, collating, stapling, printing and affixing labels, stamps, sorting by zip code to save a few cents per piece, hours and hours of work (I couldn't afford to pay to have it done).
And at the end of the day, I would spend around $1000 to mail out around 1000 flyers, and maybe I'd get my money back within a week, if the post office did a good job getting those flyers delivered.
Maybe.
Today, I would do that with email. No muss, no fuss, virtually no cost, and customers would be coming in within hours. Bingo.

But that wasn't the end of it!
After we closed down the lines, the feedback started coming in. It was insane.
